We can help one another, if we collaborate and share our experience.
How can we do that?
After I sold my practice to a corporate group, we lost our PDU, and I couldn’t get a straight answer from anyone. I tried everything to contact the CEO of a 300-practice organisation. Amazingly, the next day he arrived in person… with a solicitor’s letter.
That experience stuck with me. Not because of the drama — but because it showed how hard it can be to improve systems from the inside.
Now I’m taking a different approach. I’m using technology to make dentistry easier, safer, and more consistent. The assistant on the front page of this website is built largely from the practical advice in my videos, and I’m exploring whether AI agents (multiple LLMs) could help us tighten SOPs and improve the service we deliver.
Here’s the reply I got — and why your feedback really matters.
To build this, you are looking at more than just a chatbot; you are looking at an AI-driven Knowledge Management System. Using multiple LLMs (or "agents") is exactly the right instinct."
Helping the most vulnerable with practical prevention
This resource is designed to support suitably experienced dental nurses, hygienists, and therapists in delivering prevention-led care to the people who need it most.
Funding for community dental access is limited — but with the right team, training, and workflow, we can build a safe, efficient, and financially sustainable service. Inside these sections you’ll find guidance, real-world tips, and input from people with hands-on experience in what works (and what doesn’t).
Dental Health Service (DHS)
Mobile Dentistry & Teledentistry Toolkit for Dental Care Professionals (DCPs)
This is a collaborative library of SOPs, templates and practical resources to help DCPs deliver safe, prevention-led care — especially in care homes and community settings.
No patient-identifiable information should ever be uploaded or shared through this toolkit.
How this toolkit works
- Pick the relevant pack (Teledentistry, Scanning, SDF etc).
- Download the templates and adapt them to your practice / governance model.
- Use the patient-facing templates as a “welcome pack” to send to clients.
- Send improvements back (new SOPs, better wording, missing forms, better workflow).
